M42, which leads into my question. I have a suite of spotmatics and all of them have some problems and it's really frustrating. They've all been out for CLA but each person I've sent them to has been absolute dogshit. I do not know where to find a repair person that won't scam me. I like the idea of the bessaflex, simple mechanical m42 camera that wasn't built 60 years ago and will probably just work™. But the prices keep jumping. It's $800 cad now. For that money I could get a Nikon f2 and a few lenses. But I like my suite of takumars and I really want to start getting old Zeiss stuff.
What do. Sell all Pentax stuff and get into the Nikon system or buy a bessaflex?
