>>4007915I'm concerned about the a7iv in general
The a9ii looked cool for quick photo speeds and the autofocus system on it is extremely good in reviews, but a lot of photos shot with it looked grainy so maybe I won't get one of those. I was just gearbrained for a moment
In reviews I've seen the a7IIi is close enough to a7iv autofocus performance, like 91% as good to me with native glass. I'm worried that the a7iv would really only make sense for me to get if I explicitly stuck with sony lenses to make use of it's Sony only functions like the cropped stabilizer, breathing correction and stuff.
I don't really do video ever and the camera at best seems like an ok ish upgrade from the a7IIi which I've seen for like 1100 in great condition (even seen an a7riii for 1350) with 8000 or so on the shutter. The a7iv is like 2689 with tax. I'm thinking maybe it's best for me to just get an a7IIi and collect some glass, there's just too many things about that a7iv that aren't good enough to make me wanna spent that dosh.
