>>4141512>Please show me a digital iso 50 shot with less noise than vision 3 50dDon't even need to go that low, I've attached a 100 iso shot. The shoot is basically noise free.
https://flic.kr/p/2oaoA9P comparing to this, there is quite a bit of grain in the sky.
>Please google any fuji's datasheet, look at resolution, lp/mm, double that number (because line *pairs* per mm), and calculate resolution of, say, 4x5. Then show me an equivalent digital sensor.Film's resolution is enlargement factor. Generally, you can enlarge film about 8x for color and 10x for b/w(you can go farther with tech pan and adox cms 20, but were talking color here). 8x enlargement gets you 40x32" from a 4x5 slide. Let's compare that to iq4 150mp at 300ppi. Google says native res is 14204 x 10652 which gives a much larger 47x35". The phase one print is going to be sharper and lower noise as well. Hell, even the gfx100 is in the same ball park. 11648 x 8736 gives 39x30" print. Which again, is going to be sharper and lower noise than 4x5. An a7r4 shot printed at 240ppi is probably gonna have similar iq and be give similar size prints.
I've made large prints from 4x5 slide scans, they're very high resolution, and btfo most digital systems out there in IQ, but they aren't the best anymore.
