My Father wants me to help him set up a livestream for his AA conferences and since i'm mostly into Photography and used to using actual Professional Cameras on the video side, i'm not really acquainted with the necessary gear for Livestreaming stuff. He only asks me to get a reasonably good camera for the job and he'll provide Laptop and all, so i was wondering what could be better suited for the job. Low-Mid budget is preferable. The requirements are it having a relatively wide FoV to be able to see most of the room, but also the capability to Zoom In on whoever's speaking when need be. 720P can work, but i guess 1080p would be preferable.
A friend wants to sell me his Logitech Streamcam for 90 Bucks and he says it can work just fine, but i don't see any Optical or Digital zoom among its listed specs. Would that camera work? Or am i better off getting one of those cheap throwaway Digital Cameras?
