Micro Four Thirds has the biggest ILC market share in Japan, and Olympus/OMDS has far too much investment into MFT and it's predecessor Four Thirds DSLR technologies to just give them up.
There was a rumour hovering around in March/April that OMDS might join the L-Mount Alliance and make a Full Frame camera, but L-Mount has poor market share in Japan, and even worse market share in America and Europe.
There's also the additional factor that OMDS doesn't have the money to sink into R&D for a FF body, let alone lenses.
Plus... there's yet another challenge - the entirety of the effort would end up being antithetical to the Yoshihisa Maitani design philosophy. The lenses would end up being uncomfortably heavy, and do you really want a lens that's heavier than the 150-400mm f/4.5?
Olympus has long been known for using smaller formats, from half frame to Four Thirds, I think that's where they know thephilosophy
It's probably far more likely that OMDS will shift their attention to AI/computational photography in-body, and refocus their efforts on unique lenses that are impossible on other systems.
