>>4103396Glad you enjoyed the blog. Honestly, I have zero interest in 8x10 but some people really feel that they need those even bigger sheets. Would be a rough format to learn on, especially if you want to shoot color. The intrepid 8x10 is also complete garbage, you'll likely waste thousands in film trying to chase down light leaks and dealing with a front standard so flimsy that it can't actually hold any 8x10 lenses in place.
Found the box of prairie images I shot on the way up to Alaska. Still have to develop the rest of the box and then I'm all done with development. Here's one shot on the way up, a grain elevator glowing in the mixed light of twilight and the red sign from a bar/liquor store across the street in a long 10 minute exposure.
