From this passage at the end of page 8 and start of page 9 they explain very early on what the point of this book is. All the subjects it will cover and what we'll as a photographer well get out it. Later on, on page 20 they said that we should learn from the best which is obviously David Hurn. And you would know after how much his friend slobbed on his knob after reading this first chapter.
Im glad this chapter is over and soon we'll get into the meat and potatoes of this book soon because the topics do seem interesting to me at least
