Might be a slime mold of some type as it's stringy? From the colors I originally thought it was lichen at first till you mentioned it and started looking at it closer.
It was on the rest of the shelves as well as the log itslef which was on the forest floor, high elevation in wet/moist soil.
Although it's more drab on the base raw prior to editing, it's still green so don't think I had any influence there.
I've seen step moss(I think that's what it's called) on shelf mushrooms before so thought that or lichen was at play here.
