They might differ somewhat in autofocus and video, but inherent image quality is pretty much all more than sufficient.That boomer even scared me on dust inside the body, how they are all messed up how you shouldnt change lenses outside etc, I get his concern but its over the top and not a reason to pay 6x the price of used.
Im not usually picky or complaining on any type of equipment I use, only condition is that they are reliable, so a work horse instead of a race horse is my choice in any occasion and my impression so far is that nikon seems to take more of a work horse approach compared to canon in dslr (?). I hate most gimmicks and decorative complications which seem to be popular in photography scene at first glance (they are everywhere in cycling for instance).
I dont see many offers for d7000, but I see a few good ones for d5000, is that too old for a camera? also d5000/7000 bodies seem significantly bigger than 3100/3300 bodies, is difference in size noticeable in carrying it on a strap, travelling, street everyday use etc?
