Here's the Matt Stuart shot that I was giggling about to myself when I shot that steer with the fence. I'm not sure when Matt Stuart became an American influence, but hey, yo,
I'm not sure how one of the most basic visual gimmicks is what you consider my best work either. There's absolutely no meaning behind that shot, his or mine, it's just a goofy outtake of coincidence.
By themselves, they're not particularly impactful, no more than a photo of a cloud with a humorous shape. This kind of work shines best in a body of work similar to itself, which is why Matt Stuart is so well known for these kind of shots. He's got an ocean of these that build each other up on contact.
I've got a single one because lighthearted humor isn't my primary aesthetic orientation, and that one by itself, as much as I like it, is absolutely not all that strong by itself, and certainly not indicative of my general approach to shooting and seeing the world. It's a humorous outtake with little connection to my larger body of work.
Can't wait to hear your reply :^)
