While it's good that they are learning photography I felt way too many people just jumped on it without learning the basics things. How many times I had people asking me which film camera to buy to shoot good photos with my standard reply being why they even wanted to shoot. Tbh at first it was about rekindling the joy I once had with photography and it worked, but then fucking Instagram crept into my mind again so deleted the app. The price of film shouldn't be wasted on cliches or snapshits and again I was shooting what I thought others would like instead of just shooting to broaden my skillset
