>>4262726The remjet is nbd if you dev yourself. I just despool it after the blix into the bucket of hot water I use to keep the chemicals warm and squeegee it off with my fingers. Since dev and blix are both already alkaline, it is plenty loose by that time without any additional chemicals. The main risk is I scratch the film pretty regularly and sometimes leave little flecks of remjet that scan as bright orange splotches. It also leaves gunk on your spools which you have to clean off somehow. I have a short end of vision2 250T which is a little too grainy for me but I've been eyeing the vision3 250D 100' recans for an upgrade.
You can buy the rolls with remjet removed but honestly they put the remjet on there for a reason and I don't care much for the glowy halated look. But you can also find handspooled vision3 with the remjet still on. You could get a roll of that to try out. As for the film, my experience with 250D is that it's very neutral and low contrast, maybe even bland like portra. But I like how it looks.
