That 58mm f1.4 G renders sharp in the center, goes mildly out of focus outside the center then gets sharper again in the corners, rendering a feel that some old people call "3D Pop" when combined with low-element count/tonal variation, also sometimes called "character" by hipsters but that's more of an umbrella term.
