Decide who you are taking shots for, are they for yourself or mainly for other people to see?
Take pictures of things that are unique to your location, of stuff you care about. If you don't care about nature but walk in forests then you probably won't find many interesting subjects
Try to experiment, take different shots of the same thing and delete the ones that you dislike later
Prepare to be criticized harshly by bitter hipsters who themselves don't take any pictures every time you post here
