This is my favorite shot in terms of composition. Beacon rock is visible on the left, and you can just start to see the corner of the Crown Point Lookout on the right.
Believe it or not, it was actually quite sunny, but my camera's dynamic range isn't great and the bright light made the clouds make everything look like the earth was exploding if I set the exposure high or aperture wide. I'm not comfortable shooting in HDR yet so I just figured I'd make due with making Washington/Oregon look like they always do.
