The R50 can do 1080p 60/50fps and 4k 30/25fps. Kit lens is garbo in comparison to primes and $10k telephotos, but no shit. Stills-wise it gets some really decent performance as well. Just be aware it's a crop camera and the battery life is shite.
I would recommend it or perhaps even the R10 which is a step up if you want something light and modern. There are better options if you have money to toss around and/or aren't concerned with weight.
