Not interested in using a photography camera for cinema, when doing so requires cutting your footage to pick it up to use it as a photography camera or owning two. It's also a lot of unneeded bulk and feature bloat that's not relevant to video.
And if abuse counts, The K-1 and K-1 II have the hot shoe affixed to nothing but thin plastic, so dropping your camera with anything attached to it is liable to tear the hot shoe off. Pentax cameras also have an unusual record of temporary and permanent failure under weather conditions, implying the sealing wears out pretty fast (concerning, most of their good shit is out of production) or just isn't that effective, given how few units they move.
