>>2705340Yeah I know what you mean. I really enjoyed that stuff as well, but in the last year there's been a huge downturn in new drilling and wells since the oil prices are at rock bottom. I live in one of those few communities where some people actually bitch about low gas prices.
So many of the storage yards where there were thousands of frac tanks are now just empty dirt lots or farmers fields, though of course that could be documented as well and I've been playing around with the idea of some of those areas. There's also a huge storage yard where about 30 idle drilling rigs are fenced in behind razor wire just waiting for a rise in prices. I need a helicopter for a good view of that place, it looks incredible.
So don't you worry, that stuff is still in the back of my head I've just been preoccupied with other stuff lately.
