I wouldn't even bother selling the kit lens unless you really have to, but if there's a focal length you use religiously, that's the one to get. A tripod is honestly a better investment for landscapes, you're stopped down so much that sharpness isn't the major issue unless you can see unsharpness when shooting from a tripod.
I like the 25mm 1.8, but I don't personally care for wide lenses at all.
