-Grey balance off the orange mask
-Invert
-Grey balance off something neutral grey in the image (I'd pick an appropriate image for making this action such as a daylight shot with concrete somewhere in the frame)
That's it. From then on anytime I scan a roll of that film I batch edit it using its corresponding action. From there I tweak individual frames but the action gets the colours and everything 90-100% there.
Using this method prevents erroneous colour correcting that occurs when dealing with images shot in non-typical daylight conditions (sunrise/sunset, night, etc).
It's imperative to use a consistent light source while scanning for this workflow to work.
