>>2946664No dude don't fall for them junk telescopes that's possibly the reason you lost interest in it.
Also if your new to telescopes I'd recommend a refractor stay away from reflector telescopes and the reason I say this is because a Reflector requires you to collimate them before every use plus the mirrors need to be correctly aligned and the mirror needs time to cool down with the outside temps if the big mirror gets dirty or spots on it you gotta take the mirror out and clean it but if you dunno what your doing you can damage the mirror which a new mirror will cost just as much as a new telescope.
However if you do decide to get a reflector I wouldn't recommend bigger then an 8'' Dob and if your gonna but a Dob at least have the money to buy a Dob with a GoTo it will save you a lot of hassle.
But don't buy telescopes that are found in stores I have a Celestron Powerseeker 80eq I paid $116 plus free shipping for it but with all the money I put into that telescope I could've gotten an Explore Scientific AR102 102mm Achromatic Refractor which is kinda decent I heard for astrophotography I've heard pros and cons but for the price I think it's decent with a good EQ mount with GoTo it be a nice setup.
I did all my videos on my telescope on
juststargazing.com I'd recommend you look for an astronomy club near you and see what they would recommend on your budget.
