Pic related was taken druing the day, with the sun shining. I know how this low key shots are achieved and I like it very much, but I would like to know how to make them brighter from time to time.
My setting are usually ISO 100, f/8 - f/11, 1/200 s and flash on 1/8 or 1/4 at max. Exposure time is probably less relevant, as all the useful light comes from the flash. What could by my first modification to let in more light from the background but still have the sharp bug?
