Seems that it would be, from a hardware engineering standpoint, easier to make a ridiculously crazy good sensor if all it has to worry about are any of the millions of shades of grey between b+w instead of colour.
Perhaps I'm saying this because monochrome film photos were the first to be produced and the technique refined, but do any of those principles apply to digital? Does being monochrome simplify the way a camera retrieves the information from the sensor allowing for a much denser and sensitive sensor/faster processing of said information to produce RAWs/store and write to chip?

The lens has to ask all the light photons nicely to bunch together and squeeze through the tight opening and spread out again over the whole sensor so that needs extra space, i mean, common sense innit?

Does one, as the photographer essentially buy the girl's time and sell the photos back?
Is it the other way around, so the girl feels she needs a new set of photos to market, and hires a photographer?
Or is it the girl's agent (if available) that brokers a deal and photoshoot date/costs between girl and photographer?

Also, is it the photographer's job to provide location and props and tell the model what to do and how to pose? Is there a give & take relationship or does the girl often know what exactly she wants/brings her own props & spiel?

Not to be that guy, but what stops one from getting pictures developed onto A4 photo paper, and then scanning that A4 sheet in at over9000 DPI or some shit?

Does neg-scanning produce a better, clearer digital image?
