I've started using the rear standard on my camera to "fix" the perspective on my still lifes. I have the camera pointed downwards maybe 15-20 degrees, but the rear standard is tilted back to be level with the stage.

>>4476856 you can see the difference. It's sort of hard to describe it in words, but without the shift in perspective it looks more observational and less composed or serious. Many small things must all add up correctly to make a nice still life. Very fun stuff.
