I was dismissing m43 until recently for birbing. One look at their main message board was enough, but apparently things have changed recently. You obviously still have dads with cams posting shitty crops like on every other forum, but you've clearly some fantastic quality amongst it. Wasn't sure what was the cause of it. I mean bodies some people use are old as fuck, and sensors on them as well. The reason is that people have finally bought the top lenses. 300mm f4 apparently is world class. Then there's some panasonic-leica zoom 400mm. Before that they had at most two 300mm zooms that were slow and soft.
Found similar example. Dad is editing with paintshop, is shooting with some tc to be at 840mm, 1/250s, and it's razor sharp on a tinny bird. For all I know handheld, these fuckers have it too easy. With proper editing you could bring a ton out of it. Now, I'm sure system has drawbacks, but damn me, what I'm seeing is very impressive out of the system.
