My friend bought a drone that I sometimes fly for giggles. I'm trying to learn to make tolerable 3D models with it. Stills wise yeah it can do them but it's underwhelming. I used to shoot with some regularity from a small plane. The results are just so much better from a plane that it seems like a waste of time to bother with a drone unless absolutely necessary. Shot from a hot air balloon once. It was pure delight.
