>>3733044To be honest, carrying around 100 rolls of film was a huge pain in the ass. You can find film pretty easily in the big cities like Bangkok, Ho Chi Minh, Singapore, Phnom Penh, etc so you could maybe stock up periodically as you go instead.
There are plenty of WWOOF / Workaway opportunities in cities. Even the farm I was on was only an hour walk to the heart of Luang Prabang. Doing stuff like this really gets you into the culture and to be completely honest, is some of the least stressful times I probably had while travelling. The constant bouncing around, finding buses, finding hostels, navigating mega cities is stressful. Waking up at dawn on a farm in buttfuck nowhere Laos is about as stress free as it gets over there.
