A few years back I was really excited about photography, and I was better about making time to shoot stuff I enjoy and going out of my way to shoot stuff that was novel (to me).
>I wanted to shoot mountain landscapes, so I used my 1 week of vacation hiking in Rocky Mountain National Park.>I wanted to shoot skateboarding, so I found where a skatepark was in a nearby town and just showed up one weekend.>I wanted to shoot people tubing at the lake, so I asked around until I found someone willing to let me tag along.I haven't been nearly as good about that stuff the past couple of years, since I switched jobs to one that has me working evenings and Saturdays.
