It's an amazing piece of technology, but the stills quality is lacking if you compare it directly to a 5D Mark III. Maybe it's the full-frame versus 1.6x debate, but the slight difference in resolution is definitely noticeable.
That being said, in most other regards it is an amazing camera. I shoot 4K resolution F-Log video internally, and directly to Sandisk SD cards, and it looks amazing with grading.
The battery grip is pretty much mandatory because the ergonomics are not that great. I can shoot a day's worth of stills and videos (8-10 hours of usage on and off) and still have one battery full.
