I couldn't find a single example on dxo (the only site to use a standardised test amongst every lens review site online.) of canon beating sony on an equivalent lens for sharpness or transmission.
Fuck, even the sony 85mm 1.4 had THE SAME t value as the canon 1.2. Canon are a bunch of liars and charlatans, imagine buying a halo f1.2 lens, only to find it's no better in low light than an f1.4. Ouch.
