I use gradients on my skies a lot, mostly radial, sometimes linear. Push the blues towards the green a bit and that's mostly it. Canon's color science does the rest.
Sometimes, when I shoot architecture during golden hour, I'll add some purple into the shadows as well and crush the blacks a bit.
