Like, look at this picture. AND YES, I KNOW IT'S A SHITTY PICTURE, you don't all have to tell me, I'm just using it as an example of this one thing and it sticks out in my head specifically because I spent a lot of time on it and then just went "Eh, that's a boring photo anyway".
I wanted to get the pole in the background lined up so that the top was aligned with the pole jutting out with the little pom pom or whatever on it. Because of the inherent parallax issue with a rangefinder, it took me 17 tries to get them lined up.
If I'd been shooting an SLR, that would've taken one shot for me to realize that's not actually a very interesting composition anyway.
So any pictures where you want things to line up in a certain way are a hell of a lot more difficult on a rangefinder. That's a much bigger issue than a 95% viewfinder, which can be fixed to match what you saw exactly by simply cropping 5% in post.
