I would say ektar looks better and it's far contrastier and there's a bit of a different cast (that could partially be due to the scan as well) but the color rendition (ignore the contrast/shadows) is quite similar, it's supposed to be. I didn't say they look the same, but they're more similar than comparing it to a Fuji film or something which looks so drastically different in every way
