>>3759775Generally, they're still very close in the looks. 50's and 60's are really wild in technology. Different film stocks, different cuts, anamorphic lenses start appearing. Two movies don't look the same. Then comes the big quiet of the 70's when the downfall of the studios becomes apparent on the screen. And it all turns one-dimensional. I'm not hating on it, in fact I love it. There's this consolidation of technology, playing fields are level, there's only craft that separates a good cinematography from the poor one. I think we're back in the jungle now, and I don't like it.
