And even if it is the most sophisticated metering in the world, it's never going to be able to make creative decisions based on what you want, an evf with instant feedback cuts out the need for that.
Pic related would not have had an exposure anywhere near that had I used any method of metering and exposure comp, creative exposures either need chimping or liveview, evf is the best of all worlds.
