For $300 you can do Astrophotography.
You need a Prime to do that on a dslr/mirrorless.
Camera's just don't have the convenience that phones have.
Jpgs on cameras suck lets be honest here they are decent enough for fagbook.
But a cell phone camera from apple or google gives Raw quality shots in jpg because they have excellent post processing.
Japanese suck at coding, which is why their post processing is abysmally shit in every product they make, including their phones.
Before the normie had a phone with 2mp camera, and a Zoom film camera.
Then he had an Olympus snap camera with digital zoom and a phone with 6mp.
Now the normie has a 48mp x6 camera with 4x optical image zoom and optical image stabilization built in for $500.
Less shit to carry, less effort, faster likes.
I despise developing raws, it's not fun to me.
In the future i see all entry level cameras going out.
M50 GX85 and those will stay.

Nikon dslr=dead
All digital point and shoots like the powershots will be dead.
And only semi-pro and pro camera bodies will emain like XT30/XT3, Z50/Z7, Eos RP/R, A7iii/A7, GH/GX.
