I'm not shitposting, and I'm certainly not the problem here. The RPT is. I'm literally presenting the solution to "the next moop/abush fight, or sony/canon just released best camera ever gearfaggotry", but all of your feelings are hurt so you're rejecting it.
What you described is literally the situation present in that picture I posted. Lots of shitposting and bickering which displaces the photo threads all the way down to page 5. The solution? Drown out the black boxes with green boxes. It's that simple my dude. You can't fight the wind, you can't stop shitposting or bickering, but you can definitely adjust your sails and drown out the noise with actual OC. You can keep three shitpost threads and seven gear threads from displacing our ONE fucking photo thread by posting more of your own photos in their own threads.
100% this was the way the board worked up until Burtgummer invented the RPT as a way to get.. internet famous or some shit, and it was fabulous. We had something like 35 or 40 identifiable photographers, all with their unique styles and contributions. There were tier lists ranking them. Now we just have the recent photo toilet where people flush all of their hard work that sinks straight to page 10 like a heavy turd, and then some new dummy is tripping over himself to start the next one CUZ HE WANTS TO BE THE GUY. Nah, there's a better way. Stop posting in the rpt.
