3 batteries in the lil black pouch, two different lengths of sling strap that I can join together to turn into a two-lug neck strap, Meike MK320 or whatever its called flash unit, little Olympus voice recorder that I have no real use for but carry around anyway on the off chance I need to say something into it, red electrical tape for use as a gel alongside typical reasons for carrying a roll of tape, polarizer, and various personal items.
Sometimes I use the x100 with a leather half-case instead for aesthetics.
The wooden ball joint serves a few purposes;
-vertical grip of sorts for shooting portrait orientation with the flash attached, I rest it in the crotch of my thumb
-handgrip for resting the palm while using the focus tab, similar in purpose to the ball grips Voigtlander used to make
-pivot point for smooth movement in handheld shots with light trails. For this use I simply cup the ball loosely in my hand like a ball joint. Less prone to shakey light trails this way.
