>>3591140I do video. I've basically themed my lens kit around shooting on old Soviets, and I haven't regretted a single purchase or ever felt like I was missing out by not using anything else. They're perfectly suitable for my needs, they're sturdy, in the worst case scenario they're extremely cheap to replace/fix, they react to light in beautiful and tasteful ways, you can easily negate their eccentricities if you don't want them and plan for it, I enjoy their build and the feel of using them, I find them to be historically interesting, and having a theme for your collecting is fun.
