Hello, I just got a Lomography Color Splash Flash for my LCA.
I can't seem to get it to fire. This is my process:
>Insert new battery
>Slide unit into the camera
>Turn on button
>Wait for the red light to stop flashing
>Take photo as usual
Am I missing something here? I noticed you can press the red light down and it makes a tiny clicking sound but it didn't seem to do anything.
The manual seems to imply that I don't need to change any settings on the LCA itself. However I think I've read something about the flash not working if you have the LCA diaphragm value on auto so I've altered that as well, no results.
I'm aware this colour splash flash is kinda shit in terms of its build, and I don't know if the LCA itself is the issue. I don't have any other flashes or cameras to test with unfortunately
