I shoot people on the street. Mostly candid. Which wouldnt be legal if it was for profit or advertising.
You probably could make money shooting what i shoot, but the act of making anything self-aggrandising, competitive or profitable usually destroys its appeal. I often find other photographers cringey as fuck becasue thats exactly what they seek/assume.
I've been doing oh-hi since 2012 I've shot a lot of people, had a lot of conversations and given a lot of cards...so subsequently the pics have a modicum of exposure despite my preference for subtlety. ie: the target audience is really only the people in the photos.
Want people to look at photos: take photos of people. Theres other potentially successful ways to do it, but i dont think any are quite so simple. In any case, do it long enough and something will stick.
