Why should people care about you capturing the same shit which the photographers have already captured with way better skill long ago? If you have no unique vision/style or stories/narrative then you're not doing anyone a favor by sharing your work. Like all art anyone can put together few words or take random photographs but the real "artistry" is to arrange bunch of photographs in a way that it makes some sense and the viewer can differentiate your style from others.
Narcissistic in a sense that I don't have a particular style yet so some anon who is clicking on pic related photographs will gain very little from my work but they will gain a lot by looking at the photos taken by great photographers.
