>>3978931I used to be exactly like you, I stayed around 200-400ISO because I thought the pictures would get absolutely raped by grain and terrible quality. One evening I kept wanting to shoot so I just said fuck it, I'll keep enjoying the camera without expecting much from the pictures and set my ISO to 3200 (or 4000, I can't remember). And it changed my fucking life, the grain can be so tasteful especially in BW. I'm not hard-stuck anymore and I'm actually looking forward to the times when I can shoot at night because it makes for such pretty pictures.
Don't worry anon, just jump in, have fun and at worst you'll have wasted an evening. At best though, it'll reinvent the way you shoot.
