Please help me /p/, an uncle of mine, brother of my dad, is a profesional photographer, and for the past month I've been trying to get into photography (my mom had an fm10 and I've been mostly watching Michael Browne's videos and playing with the exposure sensor on that camera, composing shots etc. ..), so any way my dad told my uncle that I wanted to learn and he said that he had a Nikon d610 that he was trying to sell, I can buy it off him for 700 dollars. I don't know a thing about that camera only that is it's a full frame DSLR and seems to be pretty expensive. Would it be a good idea to buy if from him? Would such a camera be absolutely useless on my shitty hands? I just want a dslr so that I can look into the pictures I take.
