>>3911101>>3911089like the other anon said, taking photos at racing events honestly isn't the best way to get better at automotive photography. you're going to be very restricted with the kind of photos you can take and they're generally going to be the same shot over and over again unless you're a photographer for F1 or someshit and have access to the paddock or closer to the track.
the best way to go about putting together a portfolio is to have friends with cars which is easier said than done. and unfortunately strangers won't really want to take time out of their day to have a photographer without a portfolio they like to take pics of their cars
