>>4025126It's just pragmatism. One camera, a lens or two, digital as a backup, snapshitter and sometimes light meter if I remember to charge it before I go out. Pentax has a passive TTL meter but still works if the battery is dead and the Pen F sacrifices some image quality for 72 photos.
Step down metering and focus with Russian lenses sucks, huge kit is a burden and you end up not carrying it, and all I really want is step down rings so I can have a single set of filters across my most used lenses and a lighter tripod that doesn't have to hold up the RB. I think it helps that I don't give too much of a fuck about digital and it still meets or exceeds the quality most of the vintage shit I shoot.
I get the GAS every now and then think about upgrading to the 20mp body but I prefer feeding all these little bastards film and going places.
