I have a Canon P. You'll love it, they're great to use. Pretty much the only 35mm camera I use anymore

Anyway just get a lightmeter app on your phone, much easier than guessing. Lux for iPhone does the job very well, I've even used it for slide film and had good results.

all of the canon ltm lenses are good, and have way less of a premium price than Leica lenses
