>>3724879Most modern cameras (24MP) produce 6000x4000 JPEGs and this resolution/ratio doesn't fit nicely on any display without weird scaling or letterboxing.
Are there any cameras with a 6480x4320 sensor? Would be ~28MP. It's literally a perfect resolution for consumers. It would fit perfect on 8K displays and halve and quarter down perfectly on 4K and 1080p. Ironically this is perfect for today and future proof for 99% of people. Are there any cameras with this resolution?
Or 7680x5120 (~40MP) to allow for high res 3:2 stills and simple 8K cropped 16:9 video? It's weird how our digital cameras almost never align with our display tech. Everything could be much nicer but shits kind of a mess for no really good purpose.
