>>3603108Here's a low resolution example straight from the scanner from pushed Colorplus. Even without any adjustments, it's fine and I can easily print it at 4x6, probably even 5x7½.
I just set the print size and scan. DPI only matters if you want to pixelpeep and even then, the grain usually outweighs the pixels. Don't you do anything else while scanning?
For what purpose do you even scan? Uploading your stuff to social media? - most times compression is going to ruin your precious 'true 3600' DPI. Want to print from the scan? - 300 DPI are enough. Flexing about the resolution on 4chan? - get a life.
DSLR/MILC scans still have to be adjusted in PS with at least white point adjustment, stamping out dust and most likely correction of levels. The Plustek saves you lots of post work time with IR dust removal and automatic adjustments if you use negafix profiles.
For bw, nothing beats a wet print anyway.
