>>3499175That's a really nice blue for superia desu, I thought it was provia from the thumbnail.
I played around with the scanner for a bit and now I'm pretty sure it's the film holder that's responsible for the out of focus images. When the film is curled the holder doesn't do a very good job at flattening it so the middle is probably slightly out of focus. Also towards the end the holder sags ever so slightly, so that could affect things too.
The quality is good but I don't like how much play the holder has at the first and last frames and how it doesn't keep the film completely flat, so I'll probably just move to DSLR scanning once my reversing ring arrives and then I can just scan both formats the same way.
>>3499635>>3499197Maybe I'm just too used to digital still and/or I really do suck at developing. I never really understood the concept of agitation and the articles and boomer forums I've read say a hundred different things, so I usually just spin the wheel in my paterson tank for 3:15 minutes at a moderate pace, not sure if that affects grain or not.
I just bought a new lens for my 35mm cam and I hate wasting money so I'm forcing myself to use it for at least a few more months, but I'm really looking forward to shooting 120 and getting those beautiful detailed shots.
